The drawing portion of the software is surprisingly complete considering the fact that the software is free and for a mobile platform. Find examples of the styles you like from the existing content, and you might find some inspiration as well. You can also create your own clipart using the same method. The cutout tool is precise and simple, so you'll be sure to get the exact shape you want with no missed edges. Using the handy cutout tool, you can create your own stickers to add to the vast library of other user-created stickers. The software can also perform double-exposures through advanced editing systems that involve layers with varying levels of opaqueness. The library of useable content includes callouts, backgrounds, frames, filters, borders, and much more. It has all the basic features you would expect from a photo editor, like crop, stretch, and add text, but it also features some advanced functions like clone, curve adjustment, and cutouts. The photo editor found in this app is second to none. If you have a preference for the style of collage you're making, you can select between a freestyle arrangement, a template, and a blank grid. Every day, the community behind the PicsArt platform provides thousands of photos you can include to just about any capacity. When you first start using PicsArt to generate your own collages, you'll realize that the software contains hundreds of templates, all of which are free with the software. When you label your Instagram photos with the #picsart tag, it will be dropped into a pool of potential photos to be featured by PicsArt. The app comes with a number of built-in integrations, like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Many other apps in the same category only focus on one of those categories. It could be called an all-in-one solution for photos since it contains a camera, an editor, and a collage maker. Overall Opinion: PicsArt is a highly popular photo editor and photo collage generator available on mobile devices. Also had a great store to purchase individual items or packs.Ĭons: Format changed to a monthly subscription fee to access their store where everything is available to use but if you don't need or use everything from their store then the monthly fee is a waste. Pros: Erase / paint back in any add on or adjustment to just certain parts of your photo if you wanted to. From the start PicsArt was a bit more limited in free offerings compared to many other apps but as I said the fact that you erase and paint back in just about any add on or adjustment is awesome. The monthly price they are asking is too much I feel especially when there are better apps out there that are free and let you buy the add on you want. it wouldn't let me save the photo so I had to do a screenshot of it to save. I recall adding text to my photo and when I went to save it took me to their subscription page. So now the app gives you limited set effects and so on. That sucks because I DON'T NEED ALL THEIR FEATURES. THEN a few years back they decided toale it a ridiculous monthly/yearly fee to access all their add on features. PicsArt also had a great store where you could by individual packs of effects, stickers, etc which was awesome to buy just what you need at a very affordable price. Overall Opinion: Picsart was my go to photo edit app mainly because it allows use to erase or paint on just about any effect, sticker, filter, text whatever could be added on you could erase and then paint back in as well as adjust the opacity.
